Jumeirah Beach Park

All the information about the Jumeirah Beach Park

For guests staying in hotels without beach access in Dubai, the Jumeirah Beach Park is one of the most popular spots to visit for a day out in the sunshine and a chance to swim in the sea.

Dubai Park

The park occupies some 12 hectares of land beside the Jumeirah Beach road, and attractions available include a lifeguard protected beach, volleyball courts, barbeque pits, and shaded areas to sit out in, a choice of food kiosks and other places to get food, and a large children's play area.

The park is open throughout the year, between 8 in the morning, and 9 in the evening. Entry costs just 2 Dirhams per person (about 40p), and there is plenty of car parking available on site, so if you have rented a car for the duration of your stay, it is possible to leave it somewhere safe while you frolic in the sea or sunbathe.

The park area is clean and very safe throughout the day, retaining popularity in the evening, when many people choose to walk through the gardens and enjoy the cooler weather when the sun has gone down.

On Mondays, in common with many of Dubai's other public parks, entry is restricted to women and children only, and this is probably the most popular day.
