From the Lazy River, along which you can leisurely glide through the beautiful gardens, to the near vertical drop of the terrifying "Jumeirah Sceirah" (the highest and fastest water slide outside North America), and everything in between, Wild Wadi offers the perfect day out for all the family. 
The park contains a number of distinctive rides, including the famous "Master Blasters", best described as up-hill waterfalls, and the down hill slides in inflatable rings that they connect to. Popular with children of all ages, the flow riders mimic a standing wave, and allow people with better balance than me to surf for long periods of time. There is a large wave pool to swim in, and a surfeit of sun beds if you just want to lie back and soak up the sun. A choice of fast food restaurants serving both Arabic and western food means that you will not need to leave the park for meals, and the park employs a great system by which you can purchase credit on entry so that you do not have to carry cash around with you during your visit. |
