Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai

Soaring some 321 metres above the blue waters of the Arabian Gulf, Burj Al Arab is quite simply the most luxurious hotel in the world. Burj Al Arab is very much the symbol of Dubai, and its image adorns everything, from T-shirts to license plates on every car in the country. The hotel defines new standards in opulence and exclusivity with beautiful suites and levels of service that are truly out of this world.

Burj Al Arab boasts some of the most stunning restaurants in the world, a breathtaking atrium impressively decorated with fountains, one of the most amazing spas in the world, and a fleet of Rolls Royce cars at the disposal of guests. The hotel is an oasis of calm and creates a truly relaxing atmosphere, where every possible effort is made in order to ensure that your personal tastes are catered to exactly, and that while staying at the hotel, you are made to feel rather more special than royalty.

Burj Al Arab is very much the apex of opulence, and is surprisingly popular, indeed many people staying at the neighbouring Jumeirah Beach Hotel choose to spend the last couple of nights of their holiday at Burj Al Arab in order to celebrate a special occasion with a bit of real indulgence.

Hotel Rooms

There are a total of some 202 two-storey suites available at Burj Al Arab, all of which boast state of the art entertainment equipment, incredible views of the coastline, or the sea, and personalised butler service. The most popular room grade is the 196 square metre deluxe suite, which comprises an entrance hall, lounge with bar and office facilities, a luxurious bathroom with complementary toiletries, and an expansive bedroom.

Grades above this include corner suites with panoramic views, two bedroom suites that are ideal for families, club suites that include access to the luxurious club facilities, and of course the presidential and Royal Suites, which represent the absolute pinnacle of exclusivity and opulence. Unfortunately, the nature of the Burj Al Arab is such that adjoining rooms are not available, although families are well served by the larger suites.

Hotel Facilities

The towering Burj Al Arab hotel is built on its own man made island, and guests wanting to lie on the beach need to be driven to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel to use the facilities there. The hotel boasts several restaurants including Al Muntaha, which is suspended at the top of the building, Al Mahara, which is entered after a simulated submarine ride, and which is one of the top seafood restaurants in the world, Al Iwan - an Arabian restaurant in the lobby, and the Majilis Al Bahar, a casual beach restaurant overlooking the sea at the rear of the hotel.

For Leisure, the Burj Al Arab has an outdoor pool, and on the 27th floor, guests can be pampered in the Assawan Spa, where you can swim in an infinity pool looking out at views over the sea.

As a part of Jumeirah International, Burj Al Arab guests are also welcome to use facilities at other hotels in the group including the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Emirates Towers, and the Madinat Jumeirah complex.
