Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai
Designed to take the form of a breaking wave, and to represent the rich maritime history of Dubai, the iconic Jumeirah Beach Hotel is an instantly recognisable landmark on Dubais coastline. The hotel was conceived as a luxury resort in its own right, a place where you can receive some of the highest standards of service, eat in world-class restaurants, and relax on the beach or in the pool.
The award winning Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a popular choice for families looking for somewhere special to enjoy a holiday, and with large bedrooms, plenty of facilities, and lots going on, The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a great place to stay. Aside from a long stretch of private beach, the hotel has a number of swimming polls, a choice of excellent restaurants, and is located next door to the state of the art Wild Wadi Water Park - to which guest enjoy complimentary access for the duration of their stay.
All in all, perhaps the biggest attraction of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel is its reputation as one of the most opulent hotels in the world, but also a place where you enjoy the laid back atmosphere, as you relax in the beautiful surroundings.
Hotel Rooms
There are a total of 599 rooms in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, all of which feature a sea view. Even the standard deluxe rooms are spacious - around 50 Square Metres, and have a large bathroom. The Executive Premium Leisure rooms are a good option, and although the room itself is the same size as a regular Deluxe, it also includes access to the lounge facilities, where guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks throughout the day, and pre-dinner cocktails every evening.
Higher room grades include one, two and three bedroom suites, which are located along the spine of the hotel, and have spacious balconies ideal for eating dinner, or sunbathing on.
On the ground floor of the hotel, there are several Beachcomber suites, which are custom designed for families, and have two bedrooms and a lounge to give extra space. A small number of adjoining rooms for families are available at the hotel, although these do need to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
Hotel Facilities
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel has some 16 restaurants, bars, and cafes serving everything from German to Argentine cuisine, and a daily happy hour when drinks are half price.
Outside the hotel, there are 4 swimming pools, including one for families, and a lap pool for adults only. The Sinbads Club caters for children aged from 4 - 14 years old, and provides plenty of activities.
From the marina you can take part in a wide range of water sports including deep-sea fishing and sailing, and the hotel has a PADI dive centre. If youre feeling particularly active, you can pay a visit to the health club, where spa treatments are available for guests.
Next door to the hotel, guests can enjoy unlimited access to the Wild Wadi Water Park, where there are plenty of extra pools, and a number of thrilling water rides and slides to experience.
