You have to get you're visa when first entering the country, unless you are from the United Kingdom. Then you are allowed to stay thirty days prior to having to get your visa. Though you can fax over a copy of your passport to the hotel that you're staying at, and they can fax you over a copy of your visa and so when you arrive at the airport, you can get your visa within the first couple hours. Just make sure that if you are doing this, you let them know the date of your arrival and your reason for visiting the state. This is extremely important when booking a cheap flight, because you don't want to get a great price on tickets, and then end up forgetting to get your visa.

It's not recommended to bring animals on the flight with you because especially if you're going across country, you would have to check them into a quarantine station before you're flight and pay a fee to show them that you're pet has been vaccinated and can fly with you. If your pet hasn't had they're shots, then its best if you don't bring them because you would have to pay around one hundred pounds to get them vaccinated and then still pay the fee to bring them on board. So if you're looking to save money, leave your pet at home with a sitter or family member. If you do bring your pet with you though, some airlines won't accept animals. Emirate Airlines however does allow pets, you just need to tell them when booking your cheap flight how many pets you are bringing and how many stop you're going to make.
