The tour begins with a chance to see the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque, and travel past the modern coastal palaces where the Sheikh and his family live. Passing through the soaring skyscrapers along Sheikh Zayed Road, the first stop in is Bastakia, where you can admire the distinctive merchants houses with their wind towers.

After a visit to the Dubai Museum in the old Al Fahidi Fort, you continue across the creek in a traditional abra (water taxi) to the bustling alleyways of the aromatic spice souk. Beneath the staggering architecture of Modern Dubai, you can also explore the famous gold souk, where you can buy some jewellery at duty free prices.
